International automotive company is looking for its next production manager.

International automotive company based in Coahuila

Location
Derramadero, Coahuila.

Your new role
The Production Manager will be responsible for leading operations from the plant's initial start-up through to stable production, ensuring key KPIs are met at each stage, including training effectiveness, equipment installation, OEE improvement, and scrap reduction. The role will oversee a production team of over 500 people, ensuring efficient resource planning and smooth daily execution. This position will collaborate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, cost optimization, and support for new product introductions.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Professional degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the tire or automotive sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading production operations as a manager, overseeing large teams.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), Kaizen, Kata, and TPM.
  • Ideal experience in plant start-up or lines transfers.
  • Collaborative leadership style, result-oriented, with a high sense of accountability.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
  • Advanced English.
